The final leg of my European trip. I saved the best for last (that's what I keep telling myself), and I think I am finally ready for a city as big and anxious as Berlin. I've packed jackets and dancing shoes, and even understand that I don't have to walk everywhere, that is what the wires and tunnels under our feet are for.
I'm not in France so when I respond with Danke Shon after everything, it makes sense. I'm not going to Amsterdam where I need to look over my shoulder every 2 minutes. Okay, I'll probably still end up doing that, just to make myself feel like a badass.
Other than that, Germany has been great. I wanna come back and say good things about the people here. I wanna plant flowers on my balcony and drink Hefewiesen with every meal.
And now I want to leave for the clean train station.
Germany, thanks for staying clean.
