It was a late night

So it is 5 am here in Austin, and Jake just left for the airport. He is leaving to head back up to Michigan today for the University of Michigan vs. Ohio State game. It was a quick turnaround for us in Austin, since we just got back from a week long escapade in Chicago last night, and both of us are heading home this week, just Jake sooner than later.

Just as soon as our feet touched the ground here in Texas, we celebrated Moses' 1st birthday by picnicking and blindly letting him run free in the dog park. We had a wonderful dinner by the lake of HEB roasted chicken (never underestimate the bonding power of home cooking), and baked hot Cheetos. Classy lady.

Level 2 classes started up at The New Movement Theater again, and I got to taste a bit of improv again last night for our first class. These guys seems to have a real energy to them, and we had a great couple of scenes, especially for people who have never jammed with each other before. I just hope I can keep up and keep with it this time, my wills and wishes are practically flaking off already.

So for anyone who I have not bumped into recently, I am living back in Austin, for a little while at least. After taking a few much-needed months off after I graduated, I have been able to travel and move around freely, seeing places I never thought I would. Now that I am back home from seeing the a bit of the North, I am settling back in to really work on some creative projects, and look for some stable paycheck in the meantime. Where I will move next is still being tossed around in the air, but I like it that way.

Call me crazy, but I really like it this way.
