Oh you pretty thing

A face only the world could love.

Oh David Bowie. How is it that you are the only one that can will me out of my creative and lazy mind slumber to create again, and not only just create but with fervor! You were the first man I listened to on the plane to Germany, and my one constant them throughout my trip to Europe. I still can't listen to him without remembering blasting "Suffragette City" while hopping trains and subway carts in the Capital city.

No explanation necessary.

It's Monday, which means Jake and I are guilt tripping ourselves into working all morning. I've got a handful of articles to write, no real direction, and a full cup of coffee. This Saturday was a mess and a half. Jake and I were out of our right minds by the time lunch rolled around, and before we knew it, we were in Austin's largest crystal store, wasting hard-earned money on prisms and talking ourselves into getting our tarot cards read. We pissed off gypsies, saw cotton candy clouds overlooking all of Austin, and no one was hungrier than we were. A perfect ending to our adventure happened at The New Movement with the Little Stolen Moments show. There is just something about comedic dance that is still so jaw-dropping to me.

Now back to work.
